Teachers' Day(29 AUG 2008) and Tag Replies

It was Teachers' Day yesterday.
Reach school at about 6.30am to practise the Aces Day Dance with the whole class. Some of us painted 1C on our hands.
Most of us had our hair sprayed brown with Kah Hui's hair spray, and we finish her spray. Thank you and sorry Kah Hui!
The teachers had randomly picked the order of which class will perform first and last. Then 1C got to go first, we were so shocked as we were quite nervous.
After the Performance i have to say that it was better that the rehearsals we had.
1G was the class jumping throughout the song, but it was really very nice. Their teacher was so enthusiastic too. Even Mrs Balan wanted them to perform again.
During their 1G's second performance, Ms Yap pulled Jarred out to dance/jump with them, we were like laughing our stomachs out. Jarred didn't know what to do, as usual, he was blur blur.
1D was quite good, they had lots of good dance steps and stunts, they were surely a strong competitor.
Then time for announcing the winners. Third was 1A, most of us was puzzled on how did they get third, as it is very obvious that the people behind wasn't moving at all. I think most of us are very unhappy, but we can only work harder next year.Second was 1G while First was 1D. It was somehow expected.

The concert was quite exciting with the three winning classes of each level fighting for overall champions. 1D, 2D, 3D. It's all the D classes. In the end, 3D won, i agree that they were really good, but 1D and 2D were really good too. We saw some baby or toddler photos of some teacher, and we were like guessing among us, Candy always wanted to answer but couldn't. Finally he could, but she got it wrong. Never mind, at least you have tried Candy. We also had some fun items like VJ singing "SOS' by Jonas Brothers and some teachers performing a dance after learning the steps from 1G, the class which had everyone jumping throughout the song, and the one that attracted most peoples' attention. Then all the teachers had to go on stage for the teachers' pledge, after the 1C shout this line:"MS LAU, 1C LOVE YOU!" Haha... It was so much fun, we learnt this from An Ping, who would always say "Mdm Tham i love you", or "Ms Lau i love you". I don't know if Ms Lau heard it or not, but i think i can some how imagine her reaction if she heard it. Can you? hahas... :D
Took a photo with Ms Lau together with Rachel and Crystal, cause we went for guides' meeting, so didn't take class photo. In the end, Ms Lau took one with the three of us.
Went back to HWS. Saw Desmond, OMG! His voice totally changed like hell, if not for that, he would have no change. He didn't even grew much taller. Saw lots of old friends and teachers.
Saw Ms Lee and told her about seeing her in Vivo, then she was like:"Ya, i saw you too! And you never come and say hi!". Haha... i told her i didn't cause i saw her angry was and was afraid of entering the tiger's mouth. Then she said she was angry with the organiser about not being able to put the Skipping performance in the firs slot, as the team have to run for the NE show. Anyway, it has past.
Waited for Hui Wen and some others to come. Saw Ge Lin and she was like there hugging me and others too... I don't know why she became so enthu, but she definitely changed a little after entering SOTA(School Of The Arts). Then compared heights with Hui Wen, and she was so sad that she was still a little bit shorter than us. Haha... Hui Wen, jump more... :D
Not all of the 6Ps were there, some were busy, some left early, some couldn't come... Not really a 6P gathering, maybe wait for next time. :)
Saw that Kenneth Tan, the one in QUEST too, but in 1D. Then he in my face saw our class is a loser, he's so bad. I told him that he is the one (not1D, only him), in terms of insulting others, when others didn't offend him. His so insulting to 1C,i mean if other classmates of mine know, they will sure scold him like hell. Kenneth Tan, you better WATCH OUT!
Then actually wanted to find Linda Teacher, my ex tuition teacher, but she wasn't there. So went to my grandma house and spent my day there till the night when my father came to fetch me.
Total up it was quite an enjoyable day except for somethings... It may be one of my very memorable Teachers' day... :D

I watch "Journey To The Center Of The Earth" on Tuesday night, It was kind of exciting in some parts and also funny. Overall it's quite a good show for the old and young ones.. :D
These few days was staying back for Aces Day dance and Prefect, so didn't post.
Yesterday, some pupils from our class stayed back for the Aces Day Dance, we revised the steps. Then Rachel, Kai Zhen, En Qi, Ying Ning, Jia Wei and me stayed back and went for Prefect briefing at about 3.15. We had the briefing about what we supposed to do, what are the rules, this and that. After that we stayed back to think of some new dance steps, i went off at about 5 because my mom wants we eat out. My Family and I went to Modesto's at Vivo for dinner, because today(which is the next day of yesterday 27 Aug) is my mom's birthday, she had voucher, so we went to Modesto's. It nice, but i was very full, because the set that the restaurant gave for free contained quite lot of food.
Today, we had the Aces Day Dance practise as usual, Ms Lau and Ms Qu was here. Ms Qu couldn't learn much as it was too difficult for er, so while playing, i thought her to remind herself of the steps like for example shaking and pepper bottle, pushing the people in front of besides you. We were like laughing crazily all the way, i felt like so silly, but in the end, in kind of help Ms Qu with her dance. Hope she still remembers it tomorrow. The teachers will have to reach school and class at about 6.30pm. So early, but worth it since we wanted to put on a good dance. Then at about 5pm, the few of us went to help the other prefects in decorating the hall for teachers' day. We say Ms Lau and told her about the in the dance, then her pupils from 4C, didn't know that shes dancing. When the pupils knew, they're so shocked, and were so excited. We had to help to hang up the balloons. The we had to help to open up the knots. Rachel, Kai Zhen and i opened up ours. While En Qi and Ying Ning's took long, in the end only En Qi and i opened as they need help. I was so frustrated with it as i was running late, i need to reach home to celebrate my mom's birthday, so we gave up. I'VE GOT TO RUSH!!! So i Hitched a ride from En Qi's dad as we live near.
Oh ya, i got back my PPR (Pupils Progress Report) already. Ya! 5 A1s! Don't say not good, i know it's not as good as Kai Zhen and Rachel's 7A1, but at least I've improved, i only got 3 A1s in Term1 ok?! I'm sooo happy that I've improved! I hoped my grades won't decrease...
Hoping the tomorrow's Dance would be good. Good Luck 1C! :D

Aces Day Dance? & Tag Replies

These few days quite busy, got the aces day dance.

Actually today must come out with all the new steps, but as usual, we are not done...

Most of the people in the whole class are slacking(not all, just that some), then really don't know got what to do. See lor, the most also only embarrass yourself in front of all the Sec1s. Not our problem, depend on yourself. Better buck up. Just hope that we can finish this on time, the last day tomorrow cause Thursday need rehearsal, everyone stay back la... Stop grumbling. (to someone: U are making everyone going crazy, keep grumbling about the steps, but don't want to show us what you want, only there scolding, shouting. Help to think of steps la, stop grumbling... Because of you, the dance leaders specially asked some boys like castor to think of steps too so u boys won't hate it, in the end still like this. Can you tell us what to do?!) That is only for someone, u should know who. I got no comments, later shout at me again, got problem meh.Just hope that we can finish the steps, if not just embarrass 1C or yourself in front of all Sec1s...

Today the class got their class t-shirt, ok la not bad, just that the words in front a little bit too slanted. I think it's quite ok la...

Guides(22/08/08) & Tag Replies

Today's Guides was kinda tiring.
When we were doing the marching, we had quite a lot of mistakes(don't tell you how many. Haha...), so our group had to run ten rounds around the temporary classroom (wah, die...). Luckily we had two rounds a time, rest, then continue. Was like so tired when running the last few rounds was really like going to fall in front, but luckily didn't.
Then Shao Bing, Shao Ya, Purple Kenneth , Candy, Yuan Yuan and Leon Peh saw us. That Shao bing, Purple Kenneth, Leon Peh and Shao Ya was like there laughing, Rachel and i was like so fed-up... Candy and Yuan Yuan was the best, they didn't laugh at us...
Finally finished the run, when we were like having a so called "mini test" where we have to close our eyes when acting the command, i was like so giddy, but my body was still a little strong, so recovered after a while.
Finally Guides over, was in school resting and drinking water before going out. It was raining so actually wanted to take taxi, but wait for wait long still no taxi, so went to take bus. When i leave i still see Crystal and Rachel waiting for a taxi.
When i call Rachel after i reached home, Rachel was still in the taxi, wah. Luckily i didn't wait with them, or I'll be so late before i reach home. If I'm not wrong, I saw about 40-50 Hired or Busy taxis before i went onto the bus, wah very exaggerating, i know, but it's the truth.
K, got to go. Got tons of homework and assessments... Bye :D

21 Aug 2008 & Tag Replies

These few days was still very disturbing about the dance and the project. Today in PE we learnt some new dance steps, but i can sense that some really hate the dance and was not learning properly. Finally, KZ broke down, cried i mean. I don't blame or laugh at her, cause i think that it is realy a lot to take up for her, she's trying her very best, but others are not appreciating it. We had to stay back to learnt the dance, although we had to do our history, but we finished it before doing the dance. After school, some of us helped Ms Lau to carry the five tall stacks of newspapers from our classroom to the ground floor. We borrowed a trolley, but later found out the lift was spoiled and someone was trapped inside. so we still had to use the staircase to manually carry it down. I didn't carry, as i was like supposed to guard the newspaper and tie them together with KZ. We had lots to do and it took us really quite long. The boys are like grumbling and asked us not to bring so much the next time, but we will still do it for CIP Hours. Haha... This will make them so angry. Then after everything, Ms Lau treated us drinks, Yeah! After that we still had to practise our dance, but didn't do much.
Oh ya, there's something funny today. An Ping was like spraying perfume, then Jun Wei got some of the perfume, she was so unhappy, so Jun Wei took her water bottle and trying to pour on An Ping, then Jun Wei stop and asked her where was the perfume from. Shao Bing answered that it was from heaven, then Jun Wei moved her hand holding the water bottle that was not covered up and said "Where got from heaven one!", then the water from her bottle was poured onto her(but not much). Shao Bing was there laughing like crazy. I didn't know what happened until Shao Bing tell me, it was really kinda funny, you may not understand you have to hear from them personally.
Anyway, just continuing living on, will still try to do my best if i can.

Very Busy... tag replies

School was as usual.
Yesterday, after assembly, the teachers got all the boys out of the hall and talk to us, girls, about our attire. Then the teacher on the stage call me up, i thought was about what, but in the end she was saying like, the way i tie my hair with no fringe in front and by the side of the face was good, i tucked in my shirt, my skirt was in acceptable length, and i wear QUEST socks and not ankle socks. Phew... Luckily... But i know some others like Dan Lin was there laughing all the way... Haix... I was really unlucky.
Today was usual too, but my chinese test was so difficult, I just hope i passed. I was like trying so hard to get things into my brain, but in the end the things in my brain wasn't much of a use... I really really wished i passed.

Today... (14 AUG)

Today was another normal day...

During Pe this morning, Miss Koh wasn't here so Mr Chiang took over. He asked how many rounds we normally run and was shocked that we normally don't run any at all. He asked how many rounds do we want to run, the those who actually said 1 got to run 6 rounds, say 5 run 5, say more than 6 run 4. ha... But in the end everyone ran 4 rounds only. Then we had to practise our dance, it is going really slow, hope we can speed it up. Group 2 has no problem already, but group 3 has a big problem, not everyone is very sure of the steps. The girls from that group were fine, but the boys are not really familiar with it, so Rachel, Cing Tong, Jarred and i spent time to teach them. As usual, they didn't improve lots. So were quite stiff, not does not concentrate then that Leon Peh is dancing like so funny, he did one move like a chicken. Haha... Let's just pray that we are done with the dance by the latest 20th Aug.

Today was Hengyee's Birthday, didn't get her a present because i haven't get my pocket money for days already. Sorry Hengyee! :(

When Kai Zhen, Rachel and i were waiting for Enqi and Yingning at the foyer after school, we saw Mr Wan carrying a bouquet of flowers, we were wondering what was that for so we asked Mr Chiang, then he said :" Because today my birthday!" We at first thought that he was joking, but when he went off we saw a staff carrying a cake, then he told us that it was Mr Chiang's Birthday. So what Mr Chiang said was true. We wanted to tell him Happy Birthday personally, but it was late and we have to go, so we made him a card there stating from 1C gave it to a staff and asked him to give Mr Chiang. When we told Hengyee that today was Mr Chiang's birthday as well as hers, she was so shocked that she nearly "fainted". Hahas... Anyways, i hope that Hengyee and Mr Chiang will have a good birthday this year.

We are going to make our class t-shirt finally. I hope it turns out nice... Quite cheap, only $17. 1C RAWKS!

Koh Samui

8-11 AUGUST 2008
Hi! Was back from Tailand, Koh Samui, on Monday. Didn't blog yesterday because i didn't have the time. will show some photos. This trip is my mum's company overseas trip, so her colleagues were there too. The part of the trip i like best was first the hotel, we live in villas and each villa has it PERSONAL SWIMMING POOL! Can you believe it?! I totally loved it! Then the second day went out for fishing i was like SEA Sick! This is my FIRST time! I've never had sea sick before i was so sad, so i was almost spending all my time resting, lying down there while the others are fishing, i only got up when we are allowed to go into the water and swim. Ahh... Finally so refreshing. But luckily i didn't fish for long time, as the sun was so hot that my sis face turned totally red, like lobster. Hahas...

Then yesterday go to the Asain Civilisation Musuem with the class. Not really interesting, because i've almost seen all of the musuem that time i went with my family. Then we waited outside the musuem, we played, we ventured round, finally took class photos, took these pics from Kah Hui's Blog. Enjoy!

Busy busy busy

Sorry for not updating these few days.
I found myself always starting with sorry these few times when i'm blogging, but really sorry.
Had the english play yesterday, but had to redo as Mr Yuen say he don't know what we saying, but i asked the others sitting near him, they say they can hear us and know the story. Sad! Got to redo, Work Hard!
Just had NDP parade today, i always feel tired the past rehearsals, but surprisingly, i don't feel tired today, the actual one. Wah! Maybe got used liao. Some fainted today, but luckily all recovered soon. Maybe they are too exhausted, must get well. Then helped to give out the packs of souvenirs to each level. After that had games! Was there talking, listening to music, playing the whole time except for playing one round of the game, quite boring. Actually wanted to stay to think of the dance steps for Aces dance, but came home early,'cos cannot wait.
These few days no pics to upload, 'cos my handphone went for repair then now taking a spare phone w/o camera, why i can't just have the spare W910i phone at home? I want that phone... My new phone keep giving me problems, so disturbing.
I'm flying to thailand tonight, so may not be able to blog for long, try to. Bye. Got work to do.... :)

Sorry for not updating these few days, but i'm really busy, so didn't have time to use the com. I h've been like coming home late the last week everyday, so cannot use the computer. Tomorrow have the full dressed NDP Rehersal tomorrow for all UGs and band, tomorrow will be damn tired again. Then Wednesday got the english performance test for the play each group write, die, our group not done yet with our work including backgronds and reherse the play. Got to rush. Will be sooo tired...
